In New Brunswick, aspiring drivers must complete the Graduated Driver Licensing (GDL) program to obtain a driver’s licence. The initial step is the Class 7 licence, which is divided into two levels. Anyone aged 16 or older can obtain a Class 7 Level 1 licence, although those under 18 need to provide parental consent.
