FREE Nunavut Restricted Licence (Learner’s Licence) Practice Test 2025

If you want to pass your Nunavut Class 7 learner’s knowledge test on the first attempt, you have come to the right place. Our Nunavut Restricted Licence (Learner’s Licence) Practice Test will help you ace the Knowledge Test with scientifically backed features that enhance material retention. To obtain a Class 7 learner’s licence, you must be at least 15, present valid government-issued identification, pass a vision screening, pass the knowledge test, and, if under 18, provide written parental or guardian consent. Failing the exam will require a retest fee.

The Nunavut Class 7 Knowledge Test covers a large variety of material, including vehicle registration and insurance rules, traffic control measures, and right-of-way laws. There are mandatory equipment and safety belt usage rules, and drivers are expected to be aware of potential penalties for violations, including fines, demerit points, and in serious cases, suspension of driving privileges, insurance issues, and criminal charges. That’s just the beginning of what you must learn.

Vehicles must be registered annually under a plate-to-owner system and carry mandatory liability insurance. Traffic regulations, right-of-way rules, required vehicle equipment, and graduated driver licensing (GDL) requirements must be understood for the official exam. Even new adult drivers must adhere to the Nunavut GDL requirements and holding periods! You’ll also need to be familiar with the potential penalties for breaking rules and laws.

Once you receive a Class 7 Learner’s Licence, you may drive while supervised by a fully licensed driver (but no driving from midnight to 5 a.m.). There are also passenger limitations and more that you’ll need to thoroughly understand for the official exam.

Examiners may offer an oral version of the knowledge test if needed, and an interpreter can be used with examiner approval. The Nunavut Knowledge Exam has two sections, each with 20 multiple-choice questions. You must take the exam at a Nunavut Motor Vehicles Office and correctly answer at least 16 out of 20 questions (80%) on each section to pass.

Our Nunavut Restricted Licence (Learner’s Licence) Practice Test is based on the most recent version of the Driver’s Manual and contains 20 multiple-choice questions. The Nunavut Restricted Licence (Learner’s Licence) Practice Test is one of five in our Nunavut-specific series of practice tests.

Some of our practice tests even offer additional learner features for our premium members. Check out our other Nunavut Knowledge Exam Practice Tests!
